Citadel Base

Base acrylic paints are used as a colored base for further painting, as the first step in painting figurines. They are applied to a black or white acrylic primer. Thanks to their dense pigment, they cover perfectly after the first painting and leave a matte finish, which makes it easier to paint further highlights and shadows with Layer, Glaze and Shade paints.
