The kit proposed by Revell company includes a plastic model kit of Japanese battleship in 1:1200 scale.
Musashi was a Japanese Yamato battleship serving in the Japanese Imperial Navy during World War II (in the literature, the classification of Yamato battleships to the class of super-battles is also found). Musashi and the twin ship Yamato were the largest and heaviest battleships in history ever built (256 meters long on the waterline). They had a main artillery in the form of nine 460mm guns. The maximum weight of the triple tower was 2774 tons. The ship, built in 1938-1941, was commissioned in 1942 and served as the flagship of the Japanese Joint Fleet Admirals Isoroku Yamamoto (1941-1943) and Mineichi Koga (1943-1944). The battleship was sunk on October 24, 1944 during the Leyte naval battle by American planes taking off from aircraft carriers.
