The kit proposed by Italeri company includes two plastic model kits of Russian medium tanks in 1:72 scale.
T-34 is a Soviet medium tank from the period of the Second World War, created as a result of the development of the Soviet series of quick BT tanks. The vehicles nomenclature refers to 1934, when the first design assumptions were created, which resulted in the creation of the A-20 prototype. The serial production of the T-34 tanks began in September 1940. By the end of 1945, around 57 thousand vehicles of all types were produced (T-34/76 / T-34/57 / T-34/85). This tank has a characteristic hull with angled armor plates with a maximum thickness of 60mm and, depending on the version and armament, various types of the turret. It has participated in battles on the Eastern Front, starting from 1941, when it was a surprise for the German armored units, until the end of the war. After 1945 he was equipped with many countries.
T-34/76 is a basic version of the tank, built at the beginning of the war, equipped with a 76.2mm gun. Depending on the year of production, the following were distinguished: Model 1940 / Model 1941 / Model 1942 / Model 1943 differing from each other by many of smaller modernizations like weapons, turret, and armor.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
