More info

The kit proposed by Revell company includes a plastic model kit of Russian medium tank in 1:72 scale.

T-34 is a Soviet medium tank from the period of the Second World War, created as a result of the development of the Soviet series of quick BT tanks. The vehicles nomenclature refers to 1934, when the first design assumptions were created, which resulted in the creation of the A-20 prototype. The serial production of the T-34 tanks began in September 1940. By the end of 1945, around 57 thousand vehicles of all types were produced (T-34/76 / T-34/57 / T-34/85). This tank has a characteristic hull with angled armor plates with a maximum thickness of 60mm and, depending on the version and armament, various types of the turret. It has participated in battles on the Eastern Front, starting from 1941, when it was a surprise for the German armored units, until the end of the war. After 1945 he was equipped with many countries.

T-34/85 is a version from the late period of the Second World War. It was the last major refinement of the T-34 tank structure. It had a new three-man tower equipped with an 85mm caliber gun. We distinguish the following variants: Model 1944 and Model 1945, differing from each other by mounted gun (D-5T and ZiS-S-53).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.

Set contains:

  • The assembly instruction.
  • Frames with plastic parts.
  • Decals.
  • Plastic tracks.

Kit does NOT contain paints and glue.

Here are the basic tools and materials you need:

  • Pilers for cutting plastic parts.
  • Modeling penknife.
  • File or sandpaper.
  • Cement for plastic models.
  • Brush or airbrush.
  • Modeling paints.

If you are not sure of any accessories or colors of paints you need for your model kit, please ask us, we will be glad to help you.
