The design was done by the Lockheed Martin and Boeing companies lasted almost a decade, and before the plane was put into service 13 years had passed. The F-22 is a multi-purpose air superiority fighter capable of fighting ground targets, also used for electronic warfare and listening. It is built of stealth and composite materials and is equipped with the latest flight control and weapon systems. The fighter is designed exclusively for American air forces, without the possibility of export. By the end of production in 2011, only 195 aircraft of this type were built, according to estimates, each of which cost an incredible amount of $ 361 million.
The Tamiya kit allows building the F-22 Raptor model. In the box are 2 frames with elements of the aircraft, transparent cockpit of the pilot cockpit and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
