The most popular and versatile scale is H0 (pronounced 'H-O') at a 1:87 ratio. It offers the largest selection of models and accessories, providing a great compromise between size and detail. For those with limited space, the TT scale (1:120) or the even smaller N scale (1:160) are ideal solutions, allowing for extensive layouts in a small area. Each scale has its own unique characteristics, so it's worth learning about them before making a purchase.
