The kit proposed by Revell company includes a plastic model kit of British bomber in 1:72 scale.
In the mid-30s, the British began work on a new generation of heavy bombers. The effects of the engineers at Avro and Handley Page were visible in 1940 when Lancaster and Halifax were introduced. Halifax was a four-engined medium-payload capable of carrying 6 tons of bombs. Additional armament and propulsion units have changed and are constantly being improved. During the offensive to Germany, the task of the British was night missions, so their armament was not as powerful as the American flying fortresses. Halifax airplanes, in addition to combat missions, carried out missions involving exploration, meteorological exploration, transport and the supply of resistance in occupied Europe.
The Revell kit allows building a model of the British heavy bomber Handley Page Halifax B. Mk.III. In the box, there are 10 frames with elements of the aircraft, transparent fairings of the cabin and firing stations and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
