The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German fighter in 1:72 scale.
When Focke-Wulf appeared on the English Channel in the summer of 1941, he had no equal opponents. He was faster and much more powerful than Spitfires at the time. Airplanes, despite their success, were continually refined. The A-3 was equipped with an improved engine and compressor, improved engine cooling and a radio tuner. The armament of the aircraft was unmatched. Two MGs mounted in the hull and 4 guns mounted on the wings (2 MG FF and MG 151/20) provided the FW190 with a killer firepower. Some copies of this version of the aircraft were equipped with knots to carry additional weapons. More than 2000 Fw190 A-3 fighters were produced.
The Tamiya kit allows building a model of a Focke-Wulf Fw190 A-3 German fighter from World War II. The box contains 2 frames with elements of the model, a frame with transparent parts of the cockpit and decals (allow reconstruction of aircraft with JG 2 or 26).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
