More info
The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Japanese fighter in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows you to build the Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Japan World War II fighter with the pilot figurine. Mitsubishi Zero was the top achievement of Japanese aircraft engineers in the 30s. It was very fast and responsive, as one of the first aircraft in the world was also armed with a 20 mm gun. His biggest shortcoming was relatively weak armor, which was compensated by the superior maneuverability over American machines. Mitsubishi's design was developed until the end of the war.
The box contains 3 frames with parts of the model, a frame with transparent elements of the fairing of the cab and decals (allow reconstruction of the aircraft of the aircraft carrier group Akagi [December 1941], 3, 253 or 261 Air Group, Air Group Tainan).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
