More info
The kit proposed by Mirage Hobby company includes a plastic model kit of Polish assault aircraft in 1:48 scale.
PZL.23 Karas is a Polish light bomber aircraft that can also serve as a reconnaissance plane. Completely metal construction had wings located at the bottom of the hull and a reluctant main chassis. The design of the aircraft was made in 1932 - 1933, while the first prototype flew in the air in 1934. In 1936, the first version of Karasia PZL.23A was put into service and then in the PZL.23B version was made with a change of the unreliable engine. For the needs of exports, the PZL.43 version was prepared, which was better armed and characterized by higher speed. An interesting fact is that PZL.23 Karas in version B is the first bomber to make a bomb attack on the territory of the Reich during the Second World War. The last aircraft of this type flew until 1946 in the colors of the Romanian AF, and then were scrapped. To this day, no surviving copy of Karas has survived.
