More info
The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of American fourth generation turbo-jet fighter in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building the American F-16 C / N Cold War Aggressor / Adversary Fighter with the pilot figurine. American aviation and navy have special squadrons playing a role of the opponent during the pilot training. These units are equipped with F-16 C / N planes, whose performance and equipment reflect the combat value of Russian aircrafts such as Mig-29 and Su-27. Camouflages are also similar to those used in Russian aviation. These squadrons usually fly instructors and pilots. Simulated air combat exercises take place in two training grounds in the USA - in Nellis, Nevada, and Eielson in Alaska under the name of Red Flag, and at the Top Gun Navy School in Miramar, California.
In the box, there are 9 frames with parts of the plane, 3 frames with transparent elements and decals (allow reconstruction of machines from the school Top Gun, 18 or 64 of the Aggressor Squadron).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
