The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Japanese fourth generation turbo-jet fighter in 1:48 scale.
An American F-15 fighter, designed in the early 1980s, is considered as one of the best in the world. It has a very good performance (2.5 Ma speed) as well as universal and effective armament in the form of Sidewinder and Sparrow air-to-air missiles as well as missiles and bombs to destroy ground targets. This aircraft is also quite inexpensive in production, thus enjoying a great interest of customers worldwide. One of the countries that have decided to equip their air force with such aircraft is Japan. The F-15s used in Air Self-Defense Forces are F-15C models with Japanese design and electronics, due to the replacement of these components. The name of the aircraft has been changed to F-15J. These aircraft since 1981 are the primary force of the Japanese Air Self-Defense Forces.
The Tamiya kit allows building the Japanese F-15J fighter together with the pilot. In the box, there are 5 frames with elements of the model, a frame with transparent parts and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
