Tamiya 87038 Extra Thin Cement with Brush – 40 ml

Extra Thin Cement by Tamiya is a specialized adhesive designed for precise bonding of plastic parts, primarily used in plastic modeling. Its very fluid consistency allows it to quickly and efficiently flow into the narrow gaps between parts, lightly melting the surface contact points to create a durable and strong joint.

Key Technical Features:

Consistency: Very thin – enables automatic wicking into micro gaps between parts.
Precision brush: Equipped with adjustable length to facilitate accurate application directly from the bottle.
Joining effect: Melts slightly into the edges of the parts being joined, ensuring a firm and reliable connection.
Evaporation without residue: Drips accidentally falling onto the surface do not leave stains or discoloration on the plastic.
Volume: 40 ml – enough for gluing many plastic models.

Application and Compatibility:

Designed for polystyrene plastic models and other modeling plastics compatible with solvent-based glues.
Ideal for precise bonding of small parts, especially where high accuracy and clean joints are required.
Can be used for delicate melting and gluing of small photo-etched parts, though not recommended for large surfaces or butt joints – for such applications, a cyanoacrylate glue is a better choice.
