The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German fighter in 1:72 scale.
The most famous German fighter of World War II is the Bf109, but the best was Focke-Wulf Fw 190. It was designed just before the war as a supplement to the basic Messerschmitts but quickly proved to be superior in many aspects. The FW190 was, above all, extremely simple to produce, susceptible to modifications and robustness. The fighter was successively modernized and had several development versions. The D-9, designed as a high-altitude fighter, had a completely new engine, which greatly improves Focke-Wulfs performance with new American fighters. The armament of the aircraft was 2 MGs installed above the engine and 2 guns in the wings. The FW-190 D-9 could also carry a bomb or discarded fuel tank underneath the fuselage. Production began in the summer of 1944 and by the end of the war, approximately 700 machines of this specification were produced.
The Tamiya kit allows building the German Focke-Wulf Fw190 D-9 fighter from WW II. In the box, there is a frame with plastic elements of the plane, a frame with transparent parts and decals (allow reconstruction of machines with 4 or 301 JG).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
