More info
The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German bomber in 1:72 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building the Junkers Ju 88 C-6 multi-purpose aircraft from the Second World War. Ju 88 was designed for a variety-task aircraft. Depending on the version, it could serve as a bomber, a heavy fighter, a night fighter, or an assault bomber. The gunnery version was devoid of the glazed nose, in place of which additional weapons were installed: 3 MGs MG 17 and 20 mm gun MG FF. At the same time, the aircraft could carry 400 kg bombs at the knots under the wings.
The box contains 2 frames with elements of the aircraft, frame with transparent elements of the cabin and decals (allow reconstructing the aircraft from 11/26 ZG from the Mediterranean fights of 1943 or 4 / KG 76 operating in Ukraine in the winter of 1942).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
Paints suggested by the manufacturer for the best effect:
- Tamiya spray AS-24 (hull)
- Tamiya XF-27 (camouflage)
- Tamiya XF-2 + XF-23 + XF-66 (7: 1: 2) or AS-5 spray
