This unique Mitsubishi F-2B aircraft model, representing the special PROTO TYPE NO.4 aircraft, is a valuable addition for collectors and military aviation enthusiasts. The Mitsubishi F-2B is an advanced, two-seat version of the multirole F-2A fighter, developed through a collaboration between Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and America's Lockheed Martin. This aircraft plays a crucial role in the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, primarily serving for pilot training and operational support. This Hasegawa kit allows you to build a static display model of the fighter. The model features precise detail replication in 1/72 scale, enabling a faithful representation of the prototype F-2B version.
Assembly of the model requires cutting the plastic parts from the sprues, precise fitting, and gluing according to the included instruction manual. After assembling the model, it is recommended to paint it with model paints. Please note that some elements, to achieve an optimal effect, may require painting before their final gluing. The final step is the application of the included decals, which will allow for a faithful reproduction of the PROTO TYPE NO.4's paint scheme and markings.
