Revell 1/72 Blohm & Voss Bv-222 – plastic model kit of a transport aircraft
The Revell model in 1/72 scale depicts the German four-engine transport aircraft Blohm & Voss Bv-222, used during World War II. The construction of the model is based on detailed plastic castings, allowing for precise assembly and accurate depiction of the aircraft's distinctive silhouette, also known as the "Viking".
Technical description and application
The Bv-222 was designed for long-range transport, reconnaissance, and maritime rescue missions. The model reproduces its unique features: a large fuselage with high cargo capacity, wide wings, and four Daimler-Benz DB 603 engines, which are quite prominent in the original. Due to the 1/72 scale, this model is ideal for collectors, historical dioramas, and displays dedicated to World War II aviation.
