Main Technical Features
Volume: 10 ml
Type of paint: cellulose lacquer
Color: NATO Brown, matching the original military palette
This product is intended for painting plastic models, especially parts made of synthetic materials. Thanks to its high-quality lacquer and professional finish, the paint is perfect for military, historical modeling, and other fields requiring precise color reproduction.
Surface Preparation and Compatibility
Before painting, surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased.
Regularly, a primer such as Tamiya Surface Primer is recommended to improve adhesion and coverage efficiency, especially when applying with a brush.
The paint is compatible with other products from the Tamiya Lacquer series and standard Tamiya solvents dedicated to cellulose lacquers.
Application Instructions
Using an Airbrush
The paint is ideal for airbrush application. It should be thinned in a 1:1 ratio with Lacquer Thinner. This dilution provides optimal flow through the nozzle, minimizing the risk of clogging. During painting, it is recommended to use respiratory protection and work in a well-ventilated room with fume extraction.
Using a Brush
Due to the presence of strong solvents, applying the paint with a brush is not recommended – it may dissolve previously applied layers and leave brush marks. A brush can be used only for minor touch-ups.
