About the Arma Hobby Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb - RECONNAISSANCE Model in 1/48 Scale
The Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb represents a development of the legendary British fighter that played a significant role in the Battle of Britain and other World War II campaigns. Introduced into service in 1940, it featured an upgraded Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, which contributed to improved performance and speed. Although the Mk IIb version was originally a fighter equipped with eight .303 Browning machine guns, its robust construction and versatility led to its adaptation for various roles, including ground support, escort, and in the RECONNAISSANCE variant – as a patrol and reconnaissance aircraft. The Arma Hobby model faithfully reproduces the details of this aircraft in 1/48 scale, allowing for the assembly of a precise replica of the reconnaissance aircraft, while retaining its characteristic aerodynamic features.
Plastic parts should be precisely cut from the sprues, fitted, and glued according to the included assembly guide. Some details may require painting before final assembly.
