Szpachlówka początkowo jest rzadka, ale po nałożeniu szybko gęstnieje i zasycha na powierzchni. Po całkowitym wyschnięciu tworzy elastyczne wypełnienie, które dość łatwo daje się obrabiać za pomocą papieru ściernego. Przed szpachlowaniem warto się upewnić, czy powierzchnie są dobrze oczyszczone i odtłuszczone bo tak samo jak dobrze się szlifuje, tak samo łatwo odchodzi od niedoczyszczonych, tłustych żywicznych figurek. Warto zaznaczyć, że w tej formie - tj. tubce - daje się precyzyjniej nakładać (wygodniej niż w buteleczce 17ml), a to za sprawą smukłej końcówki aplikatora.
