The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of British fighter in 1:72 scale.
One of the most famous fighters of all time is British Spitfire. A symbol of resistance against Nazi Germany and at the same time very effective and versatile aircraft. Mk. V version was constructed in the late 1940’s due to the introduction of improvements in German Messerschmitts BF 109. Mark V was equipped with a more powerful Rolls-Royce engine that increased the performance of the aircraft. It also had universal wings, enabling the mounting of various types of weapons. To improve maneuverability at lower ceilings, some of the Spitfires had cut wing tips. Some of the aircraft was also equipped with air filters, enabling them to operate in tropical conditions.
Tamiya plastic scale model kit allows assembly of British fighter Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb / Vb Trop of World War II era. This kit allows adhesion of model in standard or tropical version, with standard or beveled wings. Box includes 2 sprues with model parts, sprue with a transparent cockpit cover, stand and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
