Tamiya 1:72 Mitsubishi A6M3 Model 32 Zero Hamp

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Japanese fighter in 1:72 scale.

The Tamiya kit allows building the Japanese A6M3 Zero fighter. Mitsubishi Zero was the best fighter aircraft in the first phase of the Pacific War. Fast, responsive and well armed, the Japanese pilots had a significant advantage. It was only the introduction of new American machines that this superiority had eliminated and forced amendments to the project. The M3 series had a stronger propulsion unit and modified avionics. As a result, speed, climb speed and maneuverability have improved.

In the box, there are 2 frames with model elements, frame with transparent parts and decals (allow reconstruction of the machine from one of hunting groups: 2, Tainan, Oita).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.

Paints suggested by the manufacturer for the best effect:

• Tamiya XF-11 or spray AS-21 (green, dark camouflage)
• Tamiya spray AS-29 (belly of the aircraft, gray-green camouflage)
• Tamiya X-18 (engine cover, cockpit elements)
• Tamiya XF-71 (cockpit)
• Tamiya X-13 + X-25 (chassis chassis, suspension components, 3:1 proportions)
• Tamiya X-10 (armament)
• Tamiya XF-16 (cockpit, engine and suspension components)
• Tamiya X-11 + XF-16 or XF-64 (propeller)
