The Tamiya 1/72 North American F-51D Mustang Korean War model kit is a precisely engineered plastic model kit of the American attack aircraft in 1/72 scale. This historical model depicts the North American F-51D Mustang, which, despite its excellence as a fighter during World War II, was primarily adapted for the role of an effective attack and ground support aircraft during the Korean War. This Tamiya kit allows you to assemble a faithful replica of this iconic aircraft.
Inside the box of the Tamiya 1/72 North American F-51D Mustang model, you will find all the necessary components to build a static replica:
Assembling the Tamiya F-51D Mustang model requires precision and attention. The plastic parts should be carefully cut from the sprues, fitted, and glued according to the included assembly guide. After assembling the model, it is recommended to paint it with model paints according to the suggested painting schemes, which are also found in the instruction manual. Please note that some details require painting before final gluing. Then, according to the instruction manual, apply the included decals to give the model the authentic look of a historical aircraft.
