Tamiya 1:48 McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle Model – An Air Superiority Fighter Replica
The Tamiya 1:48 McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle model kit set offers the opportunity to precisely recreate one of the most iconic American air superiority fighters from the Cold War era. This 1/48 scale model allows you to build a static replica of the aircraft, which was designed as a response to the Soviet MiG-25, ultimately surpassing it in many respects.
F-15C Eagle Aircraft Characteristics
The F-15 Eagle, developed by McDonnell Douglas, was conceived primarily as an air combat fighter, capable of engaging other enemy aircraft, as well as supporting ground operations. Its armament includes a 20mm M61 Vulcan cannon, along with a wide range of AIM (air-to-air) missiles, bombs, and air-to-ground missiles.
One of the distinguishing features of the F-15 is its relatively low production cost compared to similar aircraft, including its successor, the F-22 Raptor. This was achieved by foregoing some costly components in favor of design simplifications, which did not negatively impact its combat effectiveness and significantly reduced the overall program costs.

Assembly and Painting Process
