Tamiya 1:72 Dassault Mirage 2000C

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of French assault aircraft in 1:72 scale.

At the end of the 70s, command of Armée de lair reported the need for a new fighter aircraft. Dassault company took on the challenge and created a new fighter, based on experience with Mirage III and Mirage 5 fighters. Delta system applied by designers was established to meet the requirements because the airplane has better maneuverability than their predecessors while maintaining combat capabilities. Since its introduction into service in 1984, to the end of production in 2007, there were produced about 600 of this aircraft in 7 development versions. It meets the tasks of fighter and assault in the French air force and in several other countries. It took an active part in all French military interventions.

Tamiya kit includes parts allowing for the assembly of the modern French assault fighter Dassault Mirage 2000C. Box includes 2 sprues with elements of the aircraft, transparent cockpit cover and decals.

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.

• Tamiya XF-20 (nose, edge of the vertical fin, cockpit interior, elements of weaponry)

• Tamiya X-11 (metal elements)
