The Border Model 1:35 Leopard 2A6 - UKRAINE kit is a precise 1/35 scale plastic model kit, depicting the German Leopard 2A6 main battle tank in a configuration intended for the Ukrainian army. Border Model has paid attention to detail, enabling modelers to faithfully reproduce this modern armored vehicle with unique markings.
The Leopard 2A6 is an advanced version of the German Leopard 2 family main battle tank, developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. It is one of the most modern armored vehicles, highly valued for its exceptional mobility, advanced ballistic protection, and impressive firepower. The tank is equipped with a powerful 120 mm smoothbore cannon, supported by an advanced fire control system and thermal sight, ensuring precise target engagement in all conditions. The Leopard 2A6's armor system offers excellent protection against various threats, including anti-tank missiles and mines. Additional self-protection systems, such as smoke grenade dischargers and laser warning systems, further enhance crew survivability.
This model represents the Leopard 2A6 tanks that were supplied to Ukraine by the German government in January 2023. The kit includes new decals featuring the distinctive white cross, historically used as a symbol in Ukraine, allowing you to create a unique tank with Ukrainian markings.
The Border Model 1:35 Leopard 2A6 - UKRAINE kit has been designed with modelers in mind, offering comprehensive components for building a detailed model:
Model assembly requires precisely cutting parts from the sprues, fitting, and gluing them according to the included instruction manual. Some parts may require painting before assembly to achieve the optimal effect. Once assembled, the model should be painted with model paints according to the suggested painting scheme provided in the instruction manual. Finally, the included decals are applied according to the markings or graphics, allowing for a faithful reproduction of the Ukrainian version.
Important: The kit does NOT include model paints or model glue, which are necessary to complete the model.
