Tamiya Weathering Master Figures I - G is a specialized pigment set designed for professional weathering and adding realistic signs of wear to models. Developed by the renowned Tamiya company, this product allows modelers to precisely recreate the effects of atmospheric elements, wear, and the passage of time on various types of miniatures and diorama elements.
The Weathering Master Figures I - G set was designed for detailed reproduction of realistic weathering effects. Its primary application is to apply subtle yet visible marks on models, such as dust, dirt, rust, or deposits. Thanks to carefully selected pigments, this set is particularly recommended for use with miniatures, allowing for natural shadows, highlighting details of clothing, equipment, or skin, as well as imitating dirt resulting from harsh terrain or combat conditions.
In the package are three specially selected pigments, enabling various effects:
A key feature of these pigments is their formula, which allows for direct application to the model's surface. They do not require the use of additional solvents, which significantly simplifies application and speeds up the weathering process. Their consistency allows for controlled application and blending, ensuring a natural appearance of the final effect.
The included double-sided applicator/brush allows for precise application and spreading of pigments. One side of the applicator can be used for applying, the other for blending or removing excess. After finishing work, it is recommended to wipe the applicator with a dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, the applicator can be gently rinsed under lukewarm water with a small amount of mild detergent. After washing, it should be carefully dried to maintain its properties and extend its lifespan.
The Tamiya Weathering Master Figures I - G set is compatible with a wide range of plastic, resin, and metal models, including miniatures in various scales, vehicles, architectural elements, and dioramas. It can be used on surfaces painted with acrylic paints, enamel paints, and varnishes, ensuring excellent adhesion and durability of the weathering effects.
