Introducing the AFV Club 1:35 ROCA M110A2 HOWITZER - HAPPY 2023 LUNAR NEW YEAR model kit, allowing you to build a detailed replica of the American M110A2 self-propelled howitzer in 1/35 scale, featuring Republic of China Army (Taiwan) markings. This kit has been meticulously prepared by AFV Club, a renowned manufacturer of military vehicle models.
The M110A2 is a powerful American 203mm self-propelled howitzer, introduced into service in the 1960s. It was the final version of the M110 series, featuring an improved barrel and loading mechanism, allowing it to fire heavy projectiles up to an impressive range of 29 kilometers. The M110A2 howitzer was a key long-range fire support unit, designed to destroy heavily fortified targets. Its firepower was utilized in numerous conflicts, including the Vietnam War and military operations in the Middle East.
The AFV Club 1:35 ROCA M110A2 HOWITZER model kit contains all the necessary components to build the model, ensuring an authentic reproduction of the military vehicle:
Model construction begins by cutting the plastic parts from the sprues, precisely fitting them, and then gluing them together according to the included assembly guide. It is advisable to paint certain components before final assembly, which allows easier access to hard-to-reach areas and ensures an aesthetic finish. After assembly, the model should be painted with model paints, based on the suggested painting scheme provided in the instruction manual. Finally, the included decals should be applied to the model's surface according to the markings or graphics, which will give it its final, realistic appearance.
