The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Japanese fighter in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya set allows you to build the Japanese Nakajima A6M2-N fighter from World War II, together with the pilot. Rufe was created for offensive operations in the Pacific. It was a part of a huge fleet of aircraft operating from the bases on the islands and atolls in the Pacific Ocean. The design was based on a very good Zero fighter by adding floats. The defeat at Midway quickly verified these plans, because the Japanese had to go to the defensive. The seaplanes have come down to a supporting role.
The box includes wings, 4 moldings with elements of the model, a mold with transparent parts of the fairing and decals (allow reconstruction of an airplane from the 11th Air Group, or one of the wings: 5, 36, 452, Yokosuka). The model has a propeller rotating due to an electric motor (batteries are not included), in the box. There is also a base stand with a background.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
