More info
The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of American fighter in 1:48 scale.
Tamiyas kit allows you to build the model of the American World War II-era North American P-51 Mustang in RAF service. Due to the high demand for hunting aircraft, Great Britain has decided to use the latest American fighter. Mustangs export variant (P-51-B / Mk III) mostly differentiate by fairing shape- Malcolm Hood type of fairing, which greatly improved visibility from the cockpit. From the spring of 1944 pilots from 315 and 316 Polish squadrons have flown on such machines. One year later, the first Mustangs received the famous 303 Squadron.
The box contains 2 frames with airplane elements, frame with transparent elements of the fairing (standard version or Malcolm Hood) and decals (allow reconstruction of aircraft from Polish squadrons 315 and 316 or 112 RAF Squadron).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.

- Tamiya XF-58 + XF-62 (1:5 proportions) or spray AS-9 (green camouflage)
- Tamiya XF-52 + XF-54 (1:1 proportions) or spray AS-10 (gray camouflage)
