More info
The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of British assault aircraft in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building a model of a British WWII De Havilland Mosquito, including a two-man crew (pilot and navigator). The aircraft can be built as a bomber (B. Mk.IV) or reconnaissance version (PR Mk.IV). The Mosquites were one of British best war constructions. They were incredibly fast and incredibly tough, considering that they were mostly made of wood. Thanks to their advantages, they are ideally suited for fast and accurate bombing and for photographic interviewing. The Mosquitos took an active part in many important operations during the war with minimal losses.
The set consists of 7 frames with parts of the model, frame with transparent elements of the fairings and decals (allow reconstruction of 105, 109 or 540 Squadron aircraft).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
