The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Russian medium tank in 1:35 scale.
One of the most recognizable tanks of World War II is the Soviet medium tank T-34. The Red Army appeared in 1940 as the successor of the BT-7 chase tank. Its effectiveness on the battlefield was caused because of three elements. The first of these was an innovative, sloping frontal armor that was responsible for ricocheting most of the missiles. The second, a 76.2 mm gun, capable of piercing the armor of any German medium tank of that period. The biggest advantage, however, was the quantity. In the years 1940-1945, the Soviet Union produced a amount of 57,000 T-34 tanks of various types. With such an astronomical amount, there was no force that could stop them. Despite frequent technical problems, defective materials and other shortcomings, it was the simple T-34 that gave the Red Army a triumph over the sophisticated and technically advanced Wehrmacht tanks.
The Tamiya kit allows building the Soviet medium tank T-34/76 mod. 1943 with a crew of two. The box contains 2 hull elements, 4 frames with model parts, rubber tracks and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
Paints suggested by the manufacturer for the best effect:
Vehicle:
Tamiya XF-61 (armor)
Tamiya XF-2 (winter camouflage)
Tamiya XF-64 (brown camouflage)
Tamiya XF-56 (exhaust pipes, caterpillars, metal parts of the mine equipment)
Tamiya XF-64 (wooden parts of the bomber equipment)
Tamiya X-10 (MGs)

Bardzo sympatyczny w tej cenie. Całkiem dobrze spasowany, różne alternatywne dodatki (dla wersji z 42 i 43 roku), figurki bez możliwości manewru, bo tylko od pasa w górę.
