More info

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German medium tank in 1:35 scale.

After the debut of the Panthers on the Eastern Front in 1943, there was a number of defects and design errors found, mainly related to powertrain and chassis. The tank had a very high combat effectiveness, so engineers focused on repairing any errors and the introduction of another series of the Panthers to the production in the shortest possible time. This is how the Series A came about, which as a result of combat experience also proved to be imperfect. At the beginning of 1944, first Panther Ausf. G tanks rolled off the production lines. This version received improved armor and solved problems with the technical failures of previous models. G Series was the most frequently produced of all the Panthers and is considered one of the best tanks of World War II.

Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of the German medium tank of World War II Panther tank Type G along with a crew member. Box includes 2 parts of the hull, 5 sprues with model elements, rubber tracks and decals (allow for the reconstruction of vehicles 1, 9 or 31. Armoured Division).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.

Paints recommended by the manufacturer for best results:

Vehicle:

  • Tamiya XF-60 or TS-3 spray (armor, Dunkelgelb colour)
  • Tamiya XF-64 or TS-1 spray (brown camouflage)
  • Tamiya XF-61 or TS- 2 spray (green camouflage)

  • Tamiya X-10 (MG34 machine guns)
