The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of American medium tank in 1:35 scale.
In 1942, Shermans were basic tanks of the Allied armored divisions. But it still had its flaws. 75 mm cannon has over time, proved to be too weak against German tanks, gasoline engine and not too thick armor provide this tank with the unfortunate name of Ronson lighter. The project, however, was still being developed, new versions received new engines and improved traction with HVSS systems, or finally 76 mm anti-tank cannons. The crowning achievement of these modifications was a medium tank M4A3E8 Easy Eight. It had better driving abilities, enhanced armor, wet ammunition stowage compartment and 76 mm cannon. They were not perfect tanks, but while using the appropriate tactics they could compete with most of the German tanks.
Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of American Sherman M4A3E8 Easy Eight medium tank and the tank commander. Box includes the hull, turret, 6 sprues with parts, sprue with transparent visors elements and lamps, rubber tracks and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
