Tamiya 1:35 M4A3 Sherman 75mm

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of American medium tank in 1:35 scale.

For almost the entire period of the World War II, the basic US Army tank was Sherman. But it was not the same tank model, but gradually modernized vehicle, continuously improved under the influence of the experience in combat. One of the improved versions was M4A3 Sherman, produced in the Ford plant. The hull was welded, inclined front flat plate was deprived of the forward positions of the crew. The turret had an additional hatch for the loader and commanders turret was improved with visors. The engine was changed to a more powerful unit of 500 KM. Ammunition was stored in the new wet stowage, thereby reducing the risk of inflammation. Armament remained unchanged, still it was short M3 75 mm gun, 2 Browning 7.92 MG-s and M2HB .50 HMG. Between June 1942 and September 1943, there were 1690 M4A3 Sherman tanks produced.

Tamiya kit allows assembly of American medium tank M4A3 Sherman Late Production model, along with the commander and three accompanying infantry soldiers figurines. Box includes 2 hull pieces, 9 sprues with parts, rubber tracks and decals (allows to reconstruct vehicles from 6th Armored Division during Ardennes fighting and Battle of the Bulge).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
