More info

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Polish main battle tank in 1:35 scale.

Produced in the highest number of copies tank in history was the Soviet T-54/55. In years 1958-1981 produced 95 thousand tanks of this type. The T-55 was armed with an excellent 100 mm D-10T gun, stabilized in two surfaces, with a reserve of 43 missiles. The gun was much better than Western equivalents. The crew consisted of four soldiers, located in two compartments - command and combat. The front armor was 99 mm thick, while the cast turret, protecting combat compartment, the armor was 203 mm. The interior of the tank was covered by anti-radiation coat, protecting the crew from the possible consequences of a nuclear war. T-55 tanks were built in the USSR and licensed in Poland and Czechoslovakia. These tanks were the primary vehicle of all the Eastern Bloc countries and its allies. Some T-55 tanks are still in active service, especially in African armies.

The Tamiya kit allows you to build the Soviet T-55A medium tank with the commander figurine. The kit includes 2 hull elements, 5 frames with plastic parts, rubber tracks, string, mesh for engine protection and decals (allow reconstruction of vehicles in Soviet, Polish or Czechoslovak service).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing.
