The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German tank destroyer in 1:35 scale.
In the 1930s, concepts of assault gun appeared which main task would be supporting Wehrmacht infantry. That's how StuG idea was born. Panzer III was built and fitted with a 75 mm short-barrel gun mounted in the hull. The Ausf.A version debuted during the French campaign, where it proved its combat value. The vehicle had some disadvantages like too narrow tracks for difficult terrain navigation and driving. In the first serial version of the Stug (320 vehicles) used new chassis versions, new gearboxes, and modified tracks. For the first, timethe assault Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.B took part in the fight in the Balkans, and his combat was continued in Russia.
The Tamiya model kit allows building German Sturmgeschutz III Ausf.B assault gun with the commander's figurine. The model can be built with full interior. In the box is a hull element, 4 frames with model parts, aluminum cannon, photo etched parts, rubber tracks, and decals (allow for the reconstruction of 191, 192, 226 or 243th Battalion Assault Battalions).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
