The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Japanese seaplane in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building the Kawanishi N1K1 Japanese WWII seaplane, Kyofu Type 11, together with the pilot. Kyofu was to be part of an ambitious plan to build a fleet of seaplanes operating throughout the Pacific. In the Japanese concept, the creation of a seaplanes base was to be faster, simpler and cheaper than the construction of airports on forested islands. The plan, however, fell, due to the transition to the defensive after the defeat at Midway. Japanese seaplanes, despite being quite successful constructions, did not significantly affect the course of the war.
In the box is a hull element, 3 frames with model elements, a frame with transparent parts of the fairing and decals (allow to reconstruct the plane of 103 Ohrsu Kokutai or 132 Sasebo Kokutai). The model has an electric propeller that rotates on the motor (batteries not included), the case also has a stand
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
