The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German fighter in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building a model of the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 A-3 German fighter, including a pilot. In 1941 the British pilots encountered a new adversary on the English Channel. The adversary was extremely fast, agile and heavily armed. He surpassed Spitfire in almost every respect. The plane was Focke-Wulf Fw190. Designed as a supplement to Me 109, it quickly gained the title of best fighter in the European sky. The design was improved throughout the war, one of the improved versions was the A-3 aircraft, with an improved engine and 2 MG FF guns, 2 MG 151 guns, and 2 MG 17 guns.
In the box, there are 3 frames with elements of the model, a frame with transparent parts of the fairing and decals (allow reconstruction of the aircraft from 8./JG2, III./JG26 [pilot Hans Hahn], or Stab.JG25 [pilot Wilhelm Gath]). The model has an electric propeller that rotates on the motor (batteries not included).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
