The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of American assault aircraft in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building the American North American P-51D Mustang together with a pilot (two possible options). The model also includes a Model 1942 Car and an officer figure that can be used to create dioramas. Mustang was unquestionably the best fighter aircraft the Allies which had. It was was fast, well-armed, and with his fuel tank suspended, he had enough long range to escort bomber raids into the continent. The introduction of the P-51 gave the Allies an advantage in their bombing offensive, which led to a faster end of the European armed forces.
The box contains 4 frames with airplane parts, frame with car parts, resin floor, car body part, 2 frames with transparent cockpit elements (closed or retracted) and car windows, making mask during painting and decals (allow Edward B. Gillers personal plane reconstruction of 343 FS with his own name The Millie G, by Marvin W. Arthur of 334 FS with his own name Blondie or Donald F. Jones of 360 FS).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
