The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of British fighter in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows you to build a model of the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb Trop aircraft from World War II, together with the pilot. The Mk.V version was introduced in the spring of 1941, in response to the new F series of Messerschmitt Bf-109. Major changes include the engine (new Merlin 45) and wing construction. Fighter marked with b were armed with 2 guns and 4 MG. Some of them are equipped with air filters and adapted to operate in desert conditions.
The box contains 3 frames with elements of the model, frame with a clear fairing of the cabin and decals (allow reconstruction of the aircraft with 417 or 601 Hunting Squad).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
