The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Japanese bomber in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building the Mitsubishi G4M Isshikirikko Type 11 World War II bomber and torpedo bomber with three crew members (pilot, second pilot, navigator-bombardier). The Japanese needed to supplement their ambition of hegemony on the sea, as well as the bombers supporting it, operating from the ground. The main criterion for the design of such a machine was its operational range. In 1937, the Mitsubishi G4M bomber was designed. It had a range of nearly 5,000 km and could carry 2200 kg of bombs or 800 kg of torpedoes. All this, however, at the expense of the strength of the aircraft and the protection of the crew. The G4M was almost unarmored and had no sealing fuel tanks. For this reason, he often fell prey to Allied pilots. In spite of this, the bombers took part in several spectacular actions, including Sinking of the British battleship Prince of Wales along with the accompanying cruiser Repulse.
In the box, there are 6 frames with parts of the model, a frame with transparent elements of the fairings and decals (allow reconstruction of 705, 761, Kanoya or Misawa).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
