The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of American fighter in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building the American Vought F4U-1D Corsair fighter from the WWII to together with the tractor. An airplane can be attached to the tractor in the front or rear. The box also includes pilot and mechanic figures, which together with the models can be used to create a unique diorama. The Corsair 1D was the result of modifications to the first version of the aircraft. Due to the deep position of the pilot, visibility from the cabin was insufficient for the aircraft to operate safely from aircraft carriers. After modifications to the cabin, the new machines successfully operated in the Navy squadrons.
The box includes a motor protector, 5 frames with model elements, a frame with transparent parts of the fairing of the cab and decals (allow the reconstruction of the aircraft of the 69th Marine Squadron U.S.A., 6 or 86 Squadron Naval Fighting Squadron).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
