The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Japanese transport aircraft in 1:48 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows you to build the model of the Mitsubishi G4M1 Model 11 transport aircraft. The set consists of four crew members (pilot, second pilot, navigator-bombardier-gunner, observer) Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto statue and 12 Japanese soldiers figures that can be used to create the diorama scene of farewell departing admiral. Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto was a man fully dedicated to the Emperor and to Japan. Although he was opposed to the war with America he became the architect of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Since then, he has become the main antagonist of Americans who wanted to eliminate him from the war at all costs. They succeeded on April 18, 1943, when American P-38 Lightning fighter destroyed Yamamotos G4M1, traveling in the Bougainville area. It was an execution because by breaking the Japanese ciphers of war, the American service knew exactly where the Japanese strategist was expected.
In the box there are 6 frames with parts of the model, frame with transparent elements of the fairings (optional elements of the paintings of the cabins and fairies), 2 frames with elements of soldiers figures, with the statue of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto and decals (allow reconstruction of 705 Aircraft Group no. 1, belonging to Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, Admiral, or No. 2, belonging to his deputy, Vice-Admiral Matome Ugaki).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
