The kit proposed by Eduard company includes a plastic model kit of German fighter in 1:48 scale.
ProfiPACK by EDUARD is an edition containing a plastic model with all necessary accessories, such as photo-etched elements (including already colored parts), masks and resin elements. Depending on the model, the set of accessories may vary. In addition, in this set, you will find many options for different painting and markings.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
Focke Wulf Fw-190 is a single-seater and single-engine German fighter from the times of the Second World War. Produced in over 20,000 copies, including about 6,000 in the assault-bomber version. The aircraft was created as a safeguard in case it turned out that other countries fighters are better than the Messerschmitt Bf-109. The fighter was designed by Kurt Tank, who developed a design of a small fighter with a compact design with an 18 cylinder, air-cooled, BMW 139 star engine. Due to the anticipated specificity of war production, Professor Tankas team constructed a machine that was easy to manufacture to the point that it could be built by factories which have not any experience in the construction of aircraft.
Version A is a typical fighter designed for fighting at small to medium heights up to a ceiling of 7,600 meters. It was produced in versions A-1 to A-10 differing from each other by some improvements, weaponry, or used construction elements, or finally various engines. The most widely produced versions were A-3 and A-8, with mounted bomb ejector, respectively 2,000 and 1384 pieces produced until the end of war.
