More info

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German military car in 1:35 scale.

One of the necessary conditions for the victorious Blitzkrieg military doctrine was high mobility. Infantry units owed it not only to armored carriers but above all to large numbers of trucks, trucks, and trucks. One such vehicle was Steyr 1500A Austrian production. A car with a weight of 1.5 tonnes could carry 8 passengers with their equipment. It had a 4x4 drive and his top speed was 100 km / h on the road. In the Wehrmacht, it played a variety of roles, from transporting through an artillery tractor to an ambulance. Steyr was also very favored by officers and used as a staff car. It performed well in all conditions, both in the sands of Africa and in the mud of the eastern front. By the end of the war, as many as 12,500 cars of this type were produced. Its final versions even had light armor and bulletproof glass.

The Tamiya kit allows building the Steyr Type 1500A / 01 German model together with four soldiers. With infantry models, you can make dioramas. The box also included a transparent plastic panes, engine lid grille, and decals (allow reconstruction of the Sonderkommando Dora, 10th Armored Division or 92nd Independent Grenadier Regiment).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
