The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Japanese fighter in 1:48 scale.
The Japanese aircraft manufacturer Nakajima was famous for its production of seaplanes. After working out a very successful N1K1 Kyofu, there was decided to build a version with chassis. The head of the label approved the plan and immediately began to develop a new aircraft, the prototype of which went to the Navy in 1943. The model was not perfect, the complex chassis and limited visibility of the cabin and the maximum speed were not in favor of the new fighter. It was faster than the Zeros, and the point of turning than Raiden. In the end, modern Corsair and Hellcat fighters caused the plane has come to production.
Tamiya set allows building the Kawanishi N1K1-Ja Shiden Type 11 fighter. In the machine box, there are 3 frames with model elements, a frame with transparent elements and decals allows the reconstructing a machine of the Fighter Squadrons: 341, Tsukuba or Yokosuka.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing.
