Tamiya 1:48 Republic P-47M Thunderbolt

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of American assault aircraft in 1:48 scale.

The Tamiya kit allows building the American P-47M Thunderbolt US Navy fighter with a pilot. The P-47 was the most common produced American fighter. It was characterized by very high speed, excellent armament (8 MGs 12.7 mm) and excellent lifting capacity, which enabled the installation of additional bombs and rockets. Thunderbolts were used to escort the bombers over the continent. After entering the Mustang service, their main task was to attack ground units.

In the box, there are 6 frames with elements of the aircraft, frame with transparent elements of the fairing of the cabin and decals (allow reconstruction of aircraft from 63 FS, 61 FS or personal machine captain Witold Łanowski with the mark HV-Z of 61 FS, 56 FG 8 Air Force ).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
