Tamiya 1:35 Sturmmorser Tiger Sturmtiger 38cm

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale.

During the fighting in Stalingrad it was confirmed that in city fight, assault guns equipped with howitzers capable of destroying fortified enemy positions are extremely useful and super effective. It was also found that the existing vehicles of this type are too poorly armored and bear too heavy losses. It was decided to create a heavier, more powerfully armed and armored vehicle based on the Tiger tank. New construction had a 380 mm rocket mortar, and the front armor strengthened to as much as 150 mm. When Sturmtiger was introduced in 1944, the situation at the front changed so that instead of the offensive, vehicles were used mainly for defensive purposes. It turned out that Sturmtiger worked well in this role too. Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of the German heavy assault rocket mortar Sturmtiger. Box includes a part of the hull, 7 sprues with model parts and decals.

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
