The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German heavy tank in 1:35 scale.
The biggest tank of World War II was the King Tiger. Put into production in 1944, this colossus had no chance to meet up to its expectations. Despite the exquisite armor and weaponry (KwK 43 L/71 cannon had nearly 100% effectiveness!), it was unable to conquer the strategic initiative of the Allies. Used against their own destiny to attack rather than in defensive, it was too slow to lead the assault by the doctrine of Blitzkrieg. Kingdom of the Tiger II was to be the Russian steppes, where it could conduct deadly fire from long range and destroy enemy tanks easily while being unharmed by their shots.
Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of the Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B King Tiger heavy tank with an early version of the Porsche turret. Box includes 2 pieces of hull, 5 sprues with parts of the model, the casing of the engine compartment, screw for cannon fastening, rubber tracks and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
